Christmas Wish List Part 2

Well, after completing my first list I have thought of several more items which I would like for Christmas. So if you didn't like my previous suggestions, perhaps there will be something on this list that you would like to get for me. :) Some things I have made easy for you, they can be simple stocking- stuffers. Oh, and since I am graduating a week before Christmas, I thought that maybe you could choose one item for a graduation gift and then another for Christmas!
So here we go - Christmas Wish List Part Dos . . .

I have always wanted a bonsai tree. I remember when I was little that my grandpa had one. I remember him taking care of it out on their back deck. I think that they are the cutest things ever!

I have recently realized that I need a new toothbrush. This came to my attention when, as I was brushing, some of the bristles came off and got stuck in my permanent retainer. Although brushing my teeth isn't the most pleasant experience at the present time, I can hold out until Christmas as long as I don't have to pay for one myself. Cheap, I know.
Not only is my toothbrush old and worn out, it is also pink. If you're going to get me a toothbrush for Christmas, please don't make it a pink one. I beg of you.

What kind of a health science major/aerobic teacher would I be if I didn't have an adequate supply of exercise equipment in my own home? Here is a short list of things I would like to start acquiring:
  • exercise ball
  • 10-lb. hand weights
  • jump rope
  • floor mat

I have the worst luck with water bottles. I can't tell you how many I have lost over the years. My favorite to date was the one that I bought at the BYU-Idaho Bookstore. It had the BYU-Idaho logo on it and the top flipped open. That was a special water bottle. It accompanied me all around Washington, D.C. this summer. Everywhere I went, my water bottle went too (kind of like Mary and her lamb). I left it at work once or twice, but never ran the risk of losing it while there. As soon as I got back to school . . . . gone.
And so I bought another one, but after a few weeks it started leaking. So once again I am water bottle-less. I even borrowed my mom's this past weekend for a school trip and I ended up leaving it in my friend's car. Hopefully I'll get it back later this week.
Although my first preference would be to get another water bottle from the Bookstore, I would be happy with any good quality water bottle that doesn't leak. And again, please don't make it pink.

I have recently formed this new obsession for playing popular tunes on the piano and singing along. I only do this when I am home alone, but I find it quite enjoyable. Thus far, I have been resorting to using tutorials on youtube to learn some songs, but I think it would be much more fun to have some actual sheet music. Here are some songs that I would like to have:
  • "The Nearness of You" - Norah Jones
  • "Thinking Over" - Dana Glover
  • Any song by Missy Higgins
  • Various songs by Coldplay
  • Other Norah Jones songs

One last item I would like is a pair of sweats from the BYU-Idaho Bookstore. I see others wearing them and they look sooo comfortable. I always told myself that I would get some at graduation, if not before then.

Note:
After reading this through, I think that I sound very demanding. Please realize that I do not expect anything and this list is all just for fun.

  1. Funny story: The other day I was looking through my bottom drawer in the bathroom and to my surprise I found . . . a toothbrush! I guess it's an early Christmas for me this year! But you wanna know the best part? The toothbrush is (you guessed it) PINK. Go figure.

  2. I think it's just great that you are asking for exactly what you want. I thnk Bonsai are more work to care for than a small child. They need to be watered often because their pots are so shallow. Also I don't think they do well in doors for long periods of time so you need a place outside where it will survive. That means you need one that can survive those wicked Idaho winters.
